The complex consists of a 6 room boutique hotel and 9 hole golf course. Welbeck Manor is situated in just off the A38, 3 miles from Plympton and 7 miles from Plymouth. The hotel is surrounded by picturesque Devonshire countryside.
 
The Manor house was designed and re-built in 1847 by Isambard Kingdom Brunel on the site of the old manor house built in 1480. The manor belongs to the Price family from Ross on Wye, who also created the 9 hole golf course within the grounds of the manor.

Our local next door neighbours are a wildlife park which have been featured in a program on BBC 2 which was called ''Ben's Zoo''. It's often possible to stand outside at night and hear the animals being fed.
