The Steam Train does not operate in the months of November, January, February and March. It only operates our Santa Steam Specials during December.
The scenery is breath taking, along the spectacular English Riviera Geopark coast line, to the picturesque station at Churston, then on through the wooded slopes of Long Wood bordering the Dart Estuary to Kingswear. From Dolphins to Seals, Kingfishers to Buzzards, Herons and Egrets, the wildlife is superb. With such a varied range of scenery and wildlife, this is one of the finest heritage steam railway journey anywhere in Europe.
